The Sarap Shop is a Filipino-ish food truck located in San Francisco serving up (mostly) plant-based treats to the wider Bay Area. Kristen & JP, the dynamic duo behind the food, came to me wanting to go into 2020 with a fresh new look that reflected their sense of humor, love of community, and innovative spirit.

What started as a simple logo refresh, turned into an entire overhaul of the The Sarap Shop branding system. We re-worked every piece from the ground up, developing everything a spankin’ new logo mark, fresh color palette, and updated collateral. Wanting to leverage the brand equity of their existing logo (namely the pineapple with a big heart), I designed a full logo suite using elements of the pineapple in a more modern and playful way.

The resulting kit of parts was flexible, fun, and most importantly: functional.
